Importing PPT Slides Into Captivate Tutorial

Recently, I turned out a series of Captivate Presentations.  Each was unique, but they were all very uniform.  One of the ways to accomplish this is by incorporating PowerPoint slides.  In the tutorial below I show you two ways to do this.  Enjoy.

Quizmaker Confirmation

The remainder of November was an avalanche of work, and we had to stay ahead of it or be crushed by it.  I think I thrive under the pressure, and looking at it all now, I'm amazed by how much I/we got done.  Unfortunately, the long hours meant I did not have time to be exceptionally creative.  I can't show you much, but below is a Screenr of a non-specific copy of the Quizmaker Confirmation I made at the end.

Given the circumstances and our lack of a true LMS, I think it was the best solution.

Remedy Completed

It's Friday, and the Remedy Project is done.  The extended deadline gave me the latitude to try some new techniques; and I'm excited to say, they were a success.  It's always a good feeling when you get to use all your new tools.  Also, I have to say how happy I am with the new Articulate suite. Now it is so easy to synchronize colors for a truly seamless design.


Of note: You really want to check out how I used Engage Tabs to create a Watch and then Try scenario (1:40).  The Watch It and Try It are built in Captivate. Also, I used Engage Layouts throughout the project, any linked them together nicely.

Iterations: Remedy Title Page

It's been a busy week, but here is a first look at the Remedy Project I'm working on.


Currently, I'm still working out the general look.   I do that by making iterations of the title page.

Blue Moon Template Design

Hello All,
'Tis the season for football and pumpkin beer.  Every week I like to challenge myself  to come up with a new PowerPoint template; and so this week my inspiration is a Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale box.  

I think I was able to capture the essence of the design. Here is the me talking about some of the design elements:

Sandstone Logo

Changing the logo. 
I'm going to try to do this fairly regularly, possibly even seasonally.
